140 dead in Siberia plane crash (AFP)

A Russian NTV channel TV grab made 09 July 2006 shows police investigators working near the tail of an Airbus A-310 of the Russian Sibir company that crashed in Irkutsk airport. More than 150 people died, including all the crew, when the Russian Airbus A-310 with 200 people on board crashed early 09 July 2006 while landing at Irkutsk airport in Siberia, Interfax news agency quoted local authorities as saying.(AFP/NTV)AFP - At least 140 people died when a Russian Airbus plane crashed and caught fire while landing Sunday in the Siberian provincial centre of Irkutsk, officials said.
