Wesely Sunday

Today is Wesely sunday and no dout it will be the main part of worship today at chruch.

Help us to help each other, Lord,
Each other's cross to bear,
Let each his friendly aid afford,
And feel his brother's care.

Charles Wesley

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Ship of Fools: the Magazine of Christian Unrest

Just been over to Ship of Fools and had a time of prayer in their online 3D church. It was interesting and a new experience I think I may go there again for a service as well. One other thing to note is that the Methodist church sponsors them and as a member I think that it is good that they are exploring new areas of meeting people.

Any way bed for ma as I am being very silly and am going to have to get up for work in the morning as I am working over time for once.

Christian Aid campaigns - Welcome to the Trade Justice Campaign

Christian Aid campaigns - Welcome to the Trade Justice Campaign

I have just been to the Christian Aid web site and doing some reading up on what they are doing. They are really at the sharp end of things.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK CHRISTIAN AID!!!

Wonderful Mornings

For the last few days I have been riding my bike to work all apart from a few sore bits it is well worth it. I has just been so refreshing to go through town with on hassle. The air is so different you can just feel your lungs filling up with clean air. I suppose it's because there no traffic around at 5am and I don't notice it because I am in the car but all I can say it that I like it. I also seem to take in the world around me more and can hear the birds smell the freshness of it all this has made me talk to God more as well which can't be bad.

By the way I still haven't heard any thinking about the new job yet but I am not trying to think about that.

New look Blogger

I say I like the look of Blogger things seem to be getting better since Google came on.

Possable New Job

I have been to a Job interview today and these are the reading that I have been given

Psalm 62
Numbers 3:1-32; Mark 10:1-12

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and prosper for us the work of our hands - O prosper the work of our hands! Psalm 90:17

So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest-time, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9

Lord God, we pray to you for the strength that we need to keep on laboring in your service. Sometimes we become very weary and are tempted to give up the task at hand, because we are not seeing results. But you know that the harvest is coming and that we will reap the just rewards when we labor in your name. So, Lord, strengthen and prosper our hands. Amen.

Psalm 63
Numbers 3:33-4:14; Mark 10:13-31

I will appoint Peace as your overseer and Righteousness as your taskmaster. Isaiah 60:17

Love does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. 1 Corinthians 13:6

Peace! Righteousness! Comfort! Love! Truth! Faith! Mercy! Compassion! Salvation! Our hearts tremble at the thought of these wonderful words of life. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
