Prayer

Thank you Father! You know where my life and my world are headed. With so much tumult about the changing of the year and the passing of time, I consciously and confidently trust that my future is in your hands. There is no other place I would rather it be! Please bless me with confidence and banish anxiety from my heart as your future unfolds before me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Life is good

I think about the year that is just ending. I remember thinking that what else can happen to me in my life. I am sure there is more for me to do and to learn. I can say that I have learnt lots of new things, some good and some bad. But life has been good for me this year. Furthermore God has been good to me and has taught me lots more and I am glad of the guidance and care that he has shown me, I thank him for the new refilling in me this last year in prayer and trust. I thank God for my family and friends that have given me support and help when needed when things got stressed. And for the most I say thank you God for Mandy and James.
So Life is good and I know what ever happens God is Good and will never let me down. My hope and prayer for the coming new year is the same as last year, there is more for me to do and to learn. To thank God for and to accept what ever comes and not to worry. COME ON!!!!

Snow didn't stick

What can I say the snow didn't stick and it is still cold one good thing though it is New Years Eve tomorrow.

The Pharasees in the Temple

Interesting thought when You get something new you feel compelled to look after it and put it away which is only right. I have just noticed that I am already slipping and I found my new book on the floor with the cover off where it fell when I was asleep. I don't know!!
Another thought our church has moved in to our new building and had our first proper service this weekend. I can already see people trying to keep the place looking nice again it is right and needs to be. However I feel there is a small amount of building worship going on at the moment and I hope and pray the it end soon. I mean yes we should all be proud and go through a time of patting ourselves on the back and saying well done. I just hope that it will end soon and we just get on with using the building and letting it get used by the community by letting it be knocked about a bit, after all I feel Jesus would like to see this happen, otherwise we should be as bad as the pharasees in the temple and we don't want that.

Still no signal
Scientists still hoping for contact with Britain's missing Mars probe Beagle 2 are tonight making another attempt to communicate with the craft using the Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank.
I hope that they find it soon.
